Tom Wishon Golf
Technology stands alone in the custom clubmaking industry as the
ONLY company that designs all of its own original clubhead, shaft
and grip models. Tom is the only
designer from the clubmaking component segment of the golf industry
whose clubhead designs have won on the PGA Tour and been played in
Ryder Cup competition. He has designed and custom built the golf
clubs used in competition by Scott Verplank, Bruce Lietzke, Ben
Crenshaw, as well as the last set of irons played by the late Payne Stewart
before his tragic departure from the game in 1999. As Tom stated in
making his decision to establish his own company, “I completely
respect the work that the large golf equipment companies pursue in
their quality and R&D, but I could not reject the fact that the best
set of golf clubs any golfer will ever buy will be a set of true
custom made clubs, fit and built by a professional clubmaker using
the very best quality and performing clubhead, shaft and grip
designs.” Tom is a very innovative designer and has
developed more golf club "firsts" than any other active
designer. Tom is also a member of of the Golf Digest
Technical Advisory Panel and is the Technical Advisor to the PGA
of America's web site. He has also written several books
on clubfitting and clubmaking.
Pricing
Since we fit every
club to the individual golfer, each clubhead and shaft is ordered to
the specific requirements of the golfer. We do not maintain an
inventory of clubheads and shafts, so Duckers Lake Golf
Club Fitting and Repair Shop doesn’t have the typical “off the rack”
prices that you find in most golf shops and stores. Because of
our focus on the individual and our method of ordering only the
specific products
our
clubheads, shafts and other services are priced separately.
Because of our unique pricing structure our prices are very
competitive and let's the golfer have more control of the final club

The base price of our Wishon woods includes a
headcover and while we will recommend a shaft, the golfer pick's the
shaft that's right for their personal performance and price. We
feature high quality performance shafts from Wishon, Accra, Accuflex, SK
Fiber, and UST as well as other shaft options. Wishon
irons and wedges are priced with a Wishon Series 5 steel shaft and
upgrades in both steel and graphite are available. The Wishon hybrid
models include a headcover and a Wishon Gi335 graphite shaft.
