We established Duckers Lake Golf Club Fitting and Repair Shop to provide all Frankfort area golfers with a custom fitting and club repair shop. We are located at Frankfort's best full service public golf facility that provides outstanding golf on plush Zoysia fairways.
The intent of our shop, is to focus on individual club fittings, original design custom clubs and complete golf club repair. It's our belief that this is the best approach to helping a golfer maximize their potential. Our staff always strives to provide an innovative approach that provides superior customer service and products.
Our basic goal is to offer only those quality golf products and services that will enable you, the golfer, to fully enjoy your golfing experience and to play your best. Our Staff
David Dean, Clubmaker/Clubfitter
David is a former PGA Class A member who is now concentrating on clubfitting and club repair. He is our primary clubmaker. Previously, David was the assistant golf professional at Players Club of Lexington (now The University Club) and at Canewood Golf Course in Georgetown, KY. He was the Head Golf Professional at Connemara Golf Links in Nicholasville, KY before opening Capital Golf, a driving range in 2001 and Duckers Lake Golf Club Fitting and Repair Shop in 2007.
Gary Dean, Primary Clubfitter
Gary was a club hobbyist for many years before entering the golf business in 2001 on a part-time basis and full-time in 2005. Gary is a member of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) and the International Clubmakers Guild (ICG). He is a PCS Certified Class A Clubfitter and has been designated as a Certified Clubfitter by the AGCP and is MOI Certified by Wishon Golf and is our primary clubfitter. Gary previously held a variety of financial management positions with International Business Machines, the Kentucky Workforce Cabinet and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
